Designed to provide a rich audio and exceptional visual
experience, the KD-AVX2 is satellite radio ready, MP3/WMA
compatible, and offers JVC’s Giga MP3 technology that lets users
play DVD-R/-RW, +R/+RW discs that contain MP3 and WMA files,
offering the ability to store thousands of songs. It's also “Ready
for iPod®”, allowing iPod connection, recharging and information
display using JVC’s KS-PD100 adapter. JVC’s XA-HD500 hard drive
digital audio player can also be connected using the new KS-PD500
adapter.
Part of JVC’s EXAD line of products, the KD-AVX2 features the
company’s most advanced technologies and design concepts. The
screen is built into the front of the receiver and lets users watch
television, DVD movies, display JPEG pictures or monitor a rearview
camera. Dual-zone control allows front passengers to listen to
music while rear seat passengers enjoy a DVD movie. A new feature
is headphone surround, which delivers a surround sound experience
through any headphones. Also new is direct playback of MPEG-1 and
MPEG-2 files for playback versatility and convenience. In addition,
it offers an upgraded version of JVC’s Giga MP3 feature, called
Giga MP3 Multi, which can handle WAV files in addition to MP3 and
WMA files.
